Really enjoyed reading this book , it was a nice blend of suspense romance and sleuthing . I can't wait to read the next in the series. Thank you Dj
  • Enjoyable Mystery!

I really enjoyed this mystery and read it quickly in two evenings. The colorful book cover and title was interesting, which I saw on BookBub. I found it easy to download and read some of it on my iPhone via iBooks and then switched to iPad. Easy reading fun mystery! Thank you Maudie Cochere, I enjoyed your book. I am an aspiring writer and I have several short story mysteries that I am inspired to turn into chapter books. :-)

    By Sorry I have it!
The storyline is fine but the book is filled with extremely to many unimportant details. These details don't enhance the story but take away from it greatly. I believe I would have otherwise enjoyed the book more. This is not a book id recommend or purchase.
  • Fun story

Enjoyable and amusing read. I really like Maddie Cochere's style. Her books aren't laced with F-bombs and filled with sexual adventures that add nothing to the stories, it's just good light reading. I'm not a prude, it's just refreshing to find books that aren't all about booty, booze and swearing fifty times per page. Looking forward to the next book!
  • Drama Queen?

    By Twiztedkini
Makes you wonder if Susan is really the cross dresser drama queen instead of her neighbor's flamingo boy interest. Interesting mystery and a decent read although I agree with another reviewer that it is over the top with constant wardrobe attention. Seriously, you would think if someone takes so much care in knowing clothes and textile, one would know if a swimsuit is transparent when wet. *eyeroll* If the mystery had as many clues and depth as the accessories, it would rise to the top of a Best list. As it is, it's barely afloat.

  • Not for me

I wanted to like it I really did however it dragged. The moments of humor just fell flat to me and by the end I was hoping Marlon Brando look alike would off her already. There were some holes in the story but it took so long to get to the point I can't even remember where they were.

  • Sunshine Hunter

Slowest book I have ever read. All that was focused on was her clothes. What color. What style. What she bought. Could be condensed into about 150 pages. Only one likeable character. Her gay neighbor. She was a self centered twit.

Great read!! Found my self chucking, smiling and gasping several times during the course of this book. Light, funny, and the unpredictable twists kept me going until the very end. Never a dull moment.
